The “Back In Blood” star will be sentenced by Judge K. Michael Moore on April 7th inside Miami’s United States Courthouse. He pleaded guilty to one firearm conspiracy charge, resulting in his other three charges being thrown out. As part of this deal, he has dodged a possible life sentence. Prosecutors have agreed to only recommend up to eight years in prison.
The case stems from an incident where Shiesty is captured on camera shooting a man during a sneaker and marijuana transaction.
Pooh Shiesty has been denied bond several times since his arrest in June. Therefore, he will remain in Miami’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center until sentencing.
Though his federal gun case is coming to a close, the 22-year-old is still facing charges from allegedly shooting a security guard in the leg in King of Diamonds nightclub in Miami during Memorial Day Weekend. At this time, there are no new updates regarding whether or not he will take a plea deal in that case.
