Pooh Shiesty is mourning the loss of his brother, who passed away on Sunday.
Initial reports claimed that Shiesty’s brother, Tee, was gunned down. However, Say Cheese TV and Hot New Hip Hop were able to confirm that the young man was not a victim of violence. Instead, he had been hospitalized for a while with brain cancer. Sadly, he succumbed to the disease.
Tee was also a rapper, releasing music under the moniker Tee Da P before falling ill. While Shiesty has not directly released a statement regarding his brother, he has since canceled a recent show in Savannah, Georgia. The “Twerksum” rapper has taken to his Instagram to post photos of his brother during happier times.
This gut-wrenching blow comes amid Pooh Shiesty’s ascension into superstardom. His collaboration with Lil Durk, “Back in the Blood,” which was the lead single from his debut mixtape, “Shiesty Season,” was recently certified gold. The track has spent eight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, currently peaking at number 13.
Prayers to Pooh Shiesty and his family during this difficult time.
