Lil Bibby and G-Herbo's long-awaited joint mixtape may arrive this year.
While he has thrived over the past few years as an exec for his label, Grade A Productions, Lil Bibby is ready to get back in the studio alongside fellow Chicago star G-Herbo.
During his recent sit down with Vlad TV, the "Whole Crew" rapper confirmed that Herb has been interested in doing the project since 2018, which will be titled "No Limitations."
"I be thinking about it, like, sometimes I be ready to just get up and do it, but I think I'mma do it this year, Vlad. I think I'mma do it. I'mma do it with Herb though."
Despite G-Herbo being ready to complete the tape, Bibby's focus was elsewhere. Grade A Productions was busy growing the careers of signees The Kid Laroi and the late Juice WRLD, their biggest star.
Bibby says that he plans to spit bars that speak to the boss he has transitioned into over the past few years.
"I'mma boss Vlad," he told the host. "People look at me like a boss, you know, but I'm still crazy. So in my raps I'mma be saying how I really feel, and how is that gonna match up."
Bibby arrived on the scene in 2013 with the release of his debut mixtape, titled "Free Crack," with its follow-up, "Free Crack 2," landing in August of the following year. The third installment was released on November 27th, 2015.
