50 Cent is ready to wash his hands with STARZ, despite his hit television series being housed on the network.
The rapper turned media mogul took to Instagram on Tuesday to express his disdain with the network. While he didn’t elaborate on what led to the fallout, the “Many Men” rapper said he was forced to deal with “dumb sh*t” on a regular basis. 50 Cent and STARZ have garnered a powerful partnership over the years, with 50 developing his record-breaking Power Universe.
“Sucks, my deal is up over here I’m out. They renewed High Town, and FORCE is the highest rated show they have sitting in limbo,” he wrote.
While he deleted the initial IG post, 50 shared other memes indicating that he was packing his bags and leaving the network for good.
It is unclear which network 50 Cent will be taking his shows to. However, considering their popularity, any platform would be happy to have them.
STARZ has not publicly commented on the announcement.
